Ennismore School Retreat Team

Ennismore retreat Centre welcomes you and your students.  We offer your student's a day apart focussed on the theme:  "Young and Free in Christ".  Through reflection, sharing, activities and prayer-time we invite your student's to explore this theme.  Our professional and experienced school retreat team and the beautiful grounds of Ennismore Retreat Centre, offers your student's a place apart conducive to reflection and creative dialogue.

Types of Retreats:

1.   A resting space:  "Young and free in Christ" - a day focussed on the freedom which is ours in imitation of Jesus.

This retreat uses a multi-discipline approach to explore the freedom which is ours and mirrored in the person of Jesus of Nazareth.  Through group-activities, meditation/prayer and sharing we invite your student's to enter into a quiet space.

2.  Meditation Day:

This retreat, more suitable for Senior Cycle students, is based on Christian meditation and Centering Prayer.  The emphasis is on learning stillness and being centered.

3.   The above retreats may - in some circumstances - be conducted in schools and/or local facilities near your school.  Some schools have used a local community hall or Church premises.

Cost:

Cost of Ennismore-based Retreat €15 per student (includes t/c & biscuits and soup & rolls)

Cost of school - based Retreat:  Retreat Team Fee & transport
